Young Parent Program | Family Service Regina

April 8, 2026

The Young Parent Program at Family Service Regina supports pregnant and parenting youth as they navigate education, parenting, and life transitions. This program helps young parents continue their high school education while accessing the supports they need to build stability and confidence.

Young Parent Support Counsellors work directly with participants, providing one-on-one, relationship-based support. They help youth navigate complex systems, access resources, and feel supported every step of the way. Services are tailored to each individual and may include crisis intervention, advocacy, and assistance with financial and legal matters.

Additional supports include communication with school staff, accompaniment to appointments, letters of reference, and help accessing essential needs, housing, transportation, and community resources. Counselling services are also available to support emotional well-being.
