Celebrating Stress: Reclaiming the Gift of Humour

Presented by Michael Bayer, MBA

This seminar will examine "bad stress" and how to deal with it using humour. Participants will discover the true meaning and application of humour in the workplace. This seminar will fundamentally change the way you manage your workgroup, increase morale, boost productivity and turbo charge communications. Michael has been dubbed "The Info-tainer" because of his high-energy style which ranges from the inspirational to the irreverent and leads his client through a process of change that creates results. He is the Vice President of Training and Educational Services at the Custom Learning Systems Winnipeg office. Michael is an internationally recognized key note speaker, facilitator, humorist and magician.

Status of Women Canada awarded Family Service Regina a grant to research and report on stalking. A second grant has been awarded to conduct phase two of our initiative. Phase two includes continually identifying gaps and misconceptions concerning criminal harassment, develop a training program and host the learning event.

Results of this research were presented at the learning event, "Bridging the Gap: Domestic Violence & Stalking" held on October 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2007.
