For several years, Family Service Regina has been in partnership with Michael A. Riffel High School, Winston Knoll Collegiate, the Sherwood Cooperative Association Ltd. and Ranch Ehrlo to provide grocery shopping and delivery for seniors in Regina.

The tasks have been shared thus... Family Service Regina takes grocery orders, over the phone, on Wednesdays from 9:00am - 11:00am.  Students from the Special Education classes at Michael A. Riffel High School and Winston Knoll Collegiate do the shopping on Thursdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm (noon); and the Sherwood Cooperative Association Ltd. arranges for delivery and payment.  During the summer months, Ranch Ehrlo residents and staff provide the shopping aspect of the project.  This project is a true representation of community spirit and partnership.

There is a flat fee delivery cost, additional per bag cost, and a cost for deliveries south of College Avenue or east of Winnipeg Street.  If you would like to know the exact prices please contact Sherwood Cooperative Association directly.

This program is designed to provide service to senior citizens that have no other resources to provide themselves with grocery and prescription products.

For further information regarding this service, please contact Laurel at 757-6675.

Prescription delivery is also available with grocery orders.
